A frequent windsurf racing spot, Gorelston-on-Sea can provide fantastic sailing in the right conditions with NE-S winds. However, this location is also fairly dangerous and visitors are advised to ask the locals about the conditions before going out sailing. You also have to be careful about sailing close to the sea wall as the waves can throw against the wall before you have chance to react. This is not a sailing spot for beginners.
