HARTLEPOOL BAY
Being an unclean beach, Hartlepool Bay is hardly the most popular beach in the NE. The 100ft cliffs stand behind the beach mean that offshore winds are once again gusty and the lack of amenities means that sailing here is not the most pleasurable experience. The conditions are only really suited to slalom sailing but if you want to go wave sailing then a better location would be along the west coast.
