HAVERIGG POINT
This large sandy beach is located on the mouth of the river Duddon and offers tidal estuary sailing. The best wind direction id SW, which can create good bump and jump sailing conditions. However, it is only possible to sail for about 3 hours a day at Haverigg Point, and the estuary can get very rough at certain states of the tide. There is also a fairly strong rip tide so this location is not the best place to learn.
