HYTHE
A shingle and sand beach best sailed in SW (Cross shore). Produces reasonable waves at low tide when windy but can also be sailed in E (Side shore). When it’s windy, the shore break can be challenging at high tide. The local club Hythe and Saltwood SC, is mostly made up of windsurfers. Board storage is available at the clubhouse and Tuesday nights are One Design race nights. Non-members can park at Stade Court, 600 metres from the club.
