This SW facing beach looks like it should be good but none of the locals use it! The reason could be that parking is a long off and about a ten minute walk down a track from the car park. Best in W and NW winds, Marloes Sands is a very isolated beach used mainly by surfers, but being so isolated it never gets crowded. If sailing on a rising spring tide finish well before high tide as you could get cut off.
Getting there: Off B4327 head for Marloes, just before the village turn left down the track to Marloes Mere where the car park is
Ideal Wind: W, NW
Accomodation: Youth hostel above beach or hotels and B&B’s in Dale
Water Quality: MCSR
