NEWTON HAVEN-ST MARYS
Newton Haven-St Marys. This fairly sheltered bay provides good conditions for beginners as there are not many waves and a backup boat is also available. In stronger winds, this location would be more suited to slalom sailing and in E – NE winds, it is possible to sail round the point out onto the open sea, but this is not recommended for beginners. The only major drawback is that the parking is quite a distance from the beach and it can be difficult to get equipment to the water.
