Ferry from Uig, Isle of Skye to Lochmaddy, North Uist is a destination for a surf safari. Loads of beaches, except on Sundays due to pressure from on high. It’s a great place to sail! Uist is one for speed freaks too. The barrier islands to the west provide perfect flat water lagoons on the land side, while the Atlantic surf pounds the outer reefs on the shore side.
