As Old Hunstanton lies slightly above the Wash, the water is cleaner than many other beaches in the area. The location of the beach also means that there is plenty of room to sail and because the beach is hardly ever crowded, you should have plenty of room to do what you like on the water. However, this area isn’t really suited to beginners because of the currents, but an intermediate sailor should find very few problems.
