PEVENSEY BAY
The best place in the area to sail in NE or E (There’s actually nothing else around) but also good when there’s a bit more S in a W. This is a popular venue and it can get crowded especially on windy Sundays. More a slalom blasting venue than waves, it gets lumpy in an E. South coast summer breeze effects are very noticeable here. There is a large car park with a grassy rigging area right by the launch point. Like all beaches on this part of the coast the shore dump at high tide on a windy day can be difficult but it’s not as awesome as some.
