Just by the Reactive Watersports shop (01752 255999) there’s a small area, which is suitable for beginners but also used by short boarders (285cms and above). There’s only one access point and that’s from the pontoon and there is a launch charge. The worst wind direction is an E, when it’s difficult to get back. Although tidal, the currents are only in the order of 2 – 3 knots. Reactive have a well-stocked shop here and they offer RYA tuition and equipment hire also.
