PORTH DAFARCH
More popular with surfers and sea canoeists Porth Dafarch offers some fairly big swell in moderate SW winds at low tide. At high tide sailors have to be competent at tacking, as there can be a fairly strong rip tide, which will drag you downwind. In stronger winds the sea can become fairly rough and sailors not used to the conditions may find it difficult to sail in. A good location if you just want a couple of hours wave sailing but you will be disappointed if you are expecting anything more.
