SANDEND
Sandend or ‘Sondeend’ as the locals pronounce it faces N – NW. The beach is best in a W but can be gusty due to the high headland to the west. In the summer months the whole NE coast of the Moray Firth area is well suited to long board and slalom sailing with small waves and fairly constant winds.
