Weymouth beach runs the whole length of Weymouth seafront but most windsurfer’s launch from Overcombe Corner because this is the permitted launch site in the summer months with easy parking and access to the water. With a low tidal range of two metres it can be sailed in any state of the tide. A flat water blasting area in W (cross offshore) and a good wave sailing area in any wind with S in it. Overcombe Corner faces SE. Ideal wind direction is SW to E. Second Wind’s shop is nearby (01305 835301).
