On the other side of the Hayle Estuary, Carbis Bay’s wave is gentler and suitable for good intermediates. It works in NW wind, which can be slightly unpredictable on the inside. The shorebreak is quite harsh here but it’s a very good spot when conditions are extreme elsewhere.
