The Lowdown:
Club Vass Active Holidays have been perfecting the ultimate windsurf holiday since 1987. Vassiliki, on the stunning Ionian island of Lefkas, Greece, is a world-renowned windsurfing spot with outstanding conditions for all levels. Club Vass offer the biggest selection of the best kit (all new every year) and the best instructors you’ll find anywhere, as well as a uniquely chilled & welcoming atmosphere and plenty more to do. For 2023 we are expanding our dedicated wing foil centre, with an even bigger range of kit from Fanatic & Duotone & coaching from Max Rowe.
Easy access via Prevesa airport (1-hour resort transfer).
Conditions and when to go:
Vassiliki is home to an extraordinary local thermal wind phenomenon. In the mornings it’s gentle onshore & flat water, perfect for beginners/improvers. In the afternoons it switches to howling cross-shore for the more advanced & freestylers with some chop zones (great for bump & jump). All conditions in one day, every day! Open May to October.

Club Vass is right at the hub of Vassiliki Bay, where all the action happens; you probably won’t want to leave the beach! It’s also a great starting point to explore the stunning island of Lefkas & surrounding Ionian islands.

About the centre:
Club Vass have over 300 boards from Goya, Severne, Fanatic & RRD, over 300 sails from Goya, Severne, & Duotone, as well as wing and wind foil gear from Fanatic & Duotone. Most of the kit is brand new every year, racked and ready on the beach. The instruction is second to none, with the most highly qualified professional team in the world, including PWA freestylers. Club Vass also offers outstanding mountain biking with top spec Whyte MTBs, SUPs, kids’ clubs (including ProKids windsurfing), yoga, Pilates and much more. Club Vass has its own hotel & restaurant and the bar is unquestionably the best spot on the beach for après-surf sundowners!
