Eastney faces almost due S and in S or SW winds is a launch point for a crossing to the southern end of Hayling Island but only at high tide as the sand banks to the W of Hayling can suck dry especially on spring lows.
Getting there: From the A27, take the A2030, then take the A288. Eastney is signposted to the left
