The Dunkerbeck Pro Center offers a professional, laid-back Island vibe, where the staff live and breathe windsurfing.
Conditions and when to go:
Lac Bay boasts shallow, warm waters, with consistent wind all year round – but with the best months being Dec-Aug – when the wind blows sunrise to sunset. The bay transitions to a deep-water playground offering bump and jump for more experienced windsurfers.
Local spots:
Alongside Bonaire being a windsurfing paradise, it is one of the best shore diving and snorkelling locations in the world. Visit the beautiful North
of the Island for hiking and more. During the evenings, experience the many cuisines offered on the Island.
About the centre:
Founded by two windsurf legends, Björn Dunkerbeck and Philippe Bru, the Dunkerbeck Pro Center is the furthest upwind with easy access to the waist deep, clear blue waters. It offers the most up to date kit selection on the island including Severne, Starboard, Goya and Simmer Style. The enthusiastic and professional instructors can provide tuition for all levels, ensuring you are able to enjoy your experience here, and progress your windsurfing.

The centre is located on Sorobon Beach Resort, an ideal place to stay for those who would like windsurfing on their doorstep. Accommodation can also be found nearby on the Island.
