About the centres
Harry Nass The newly built Harry Nass centre is based at the 4 star Hotel Mercure Hurghada which is located next to the legendary top windsurfing beach of Magawish, This all round sailing area offers side shore winds, flat water with a little chop on the outside and  flat water at the sandbank which is upwind – a prime area for beginners, as well as for speed. The water here is turquoise and shallow. The centre is equipped with brand new 2015 JP/NP windsurfing equipment, with fifty boards and eighty rigs. For safety there are two rescue boats including a shuttle service between the centre and the upwind sailing area so that no one has to struggle to reach it. All windsurfers are also equipped with two way radios. There is a relaxing lounge at the centre for those after windsurfing tales. The centre is just ten minutes from Hurghada airport.
Tommy Friedl Pro Centre The ProCenter Tommy Friedl is located at one of the most ideal spots for windsurfing in the Red Sea. A saltwater lake prepares the beginners for their first tacks. The beach in front of the centre has a soft sandy beach leading into the surfers lagoon, with the first 200m hip deep. Waterstart-students will enjoy the easy learning, while surfers on the outside can enjoy the open sea with little ramps, great for first time jumps. Freestylers will like the bump and jump conditions. The centre changes their rental fleet annually to the latest models of JP Australia and Neilpryde.

How to get there
5 hour flight time from the UK. It is a short transfer from the airport to the hotel (only 10 minutes drive).

Where to Stay
There are a few 3 & 4* resorts which are in walking distance from the centre and spot, but there are lots of options in Hurghada including the 4* Mercure Hurghada where the Harry Nass Centre is located. The hotel was awarded the Travellers choice 2014 winner on Trip advisor and is one of the best hotels on Holiday Check. The hotel offers all inclusive and an impressive quality. The atmosphere in the hotel is intimate and relaxing with excellent food.

Riding on Offer
Hurghada is spread out over 30 kilometers and the variety of launch spots make this an excellent location for all levels. A shallow lagoon offers a safe area with no drifting to make the first steps. More experienced windsurfers can start from the beach where the wind blows side onshore from the left with access to a large shallow area that is ideal to practice waterstart, gybes and other manoeuvers. This is a dream spot for freestylers. On high wind days you can find moderate 1m waves out to sea.
