NICO PRIEN: GERMANY TO DENMARK
Nico Prien ticks a box off of his bucket list by windsurfing the monster crossing from Germany to Denmark!
“Since so many years, whenever I would go sailing in my home spot, I couldn’t help, but imagining to keep sailing until you arrive to the other side. You can’t see it, but a look on the map shows that Denmark is not too far.
The wind forecast aligned (well, sort of) and a couple of phone calls & a day later we find ourselves in Kiel to launch over to 
.
.We sailed a total of 110km, which in itself is not a lot but Gunnar Asmussen and I faced a couple of challenges, which made the trip an unforgettable memory. Sometimes childhood dreams do come true – this was one of them.
Big thanks to @spigendeutschland who provided us with waterproof dry bags, phone pouch and waist bag. They actually were very helpful to keep camera gear, walkie-talkie and phone dry, as well as close to me during the crossing.”
