NWF AWARD NOMINATIONS 2016
The team at NWF give us news of their new award program –
“The NWF are looking for nominations of outstanding achievement for the following awards. The winners will be announced and will be given out at the NWF event in September this year. If you know someone that you think deserves to be nominated please email [email protected] with the name and contact details of the person and a short paragraph on why you think they should be considered. The is a fantastic way of recognising the unsung heroes of our sport and industry that have in the past gone unnoticed.
NWF annual awards for outstanding achievement.
Under 21 Coach of the Year: Awarded for outstanding results and achievement when working with junior and youth windsurfers.
Coach of the Year: Awarded for outstanding results and achievement with adult windsurfers.
Young Windsurfer of the year: Awarded for outstanding results and achievement in windsurfing junior and youth competition.
Club of the year: Awarded to clubs that have shown outstanding achievement in competition and development in Windsurfing
Disabled Windsurfer of the year: Awarded to a disabled windsurfer who has overcome their disability and inspired others.
Outstanding achievement award: Awarded to an individual or team that has achieved an outstanding performance in the previous year.
Most inspiring windsurfer of the year: The windsurfer who has given inspiration to new or old windsurfers to take up or try something new in Windsurfing.”
