One of the most dangerous waves along the Cornish coastline. It breaks very quickly over a very shallow reef in front of the harbour wall. This is a spot for the best and extremely expert big wave sailor and even then you should check your health and kit insurance! If you watch the surfers and bodyboarders you will soon understand why, every year freak waves sweep holidaymakers off the harbour wall and out to sea. If you get it wrong here the consequences are dire and, at best, you would have a long swim down the coast.
