Quotes

‘2017 will see Tiree Wave Classic move to the next level in its development as an event. Our new pre registration system is allowing us to build an overview of our fleet size, pre event and our new event HQ should maximise social involvement throughout the week. Having been involved in the event for the last 22 years, I am very pleased at how we have presented Tiree over the last three years and look forward to another record breaking & action packed Event this year!’ – William Maclean – Event host & Manager
‘Our RYA supported Youth Wavesailing Training Camp is amazing for the kids and it’s so inspiring to see these young guys improving year in year out. Some of these are guys i’ve coached through their younger years and i have to say watching the youth camp puts a lump in my throat every year! Like-wise with the other competitors, these are guys I’ve grown up with and to see Amateurs moving up to a Professional level is great.’ – John Isaacson, Events Co-ordinator
‘Tiree has been a big part of my windsurfing since I was 12 years old and is now effectively home. The Wave Classic is always fun to compete in but a bit more challenging this year for me competing at a Professional Level. I am hoping for some great conditions!’ – Tristan Levie, Professional Division Competitor.
