Day 2: Wild & Windy! After a lot of waiting for conditions, we finally got our hurricane!

We weren’t sure what we were going to get today but in the end Hurricane Ophelia reared her beautiful face in time to catch some spectacular action all round.

Around 2pm the wind finally veered to the East South East to deliver wind & waves in abundance to Crossapol beach on Tiree’s east coast…

A big day for the amateurs & masters fleets who battled for podium positions in progressively windier conditions as the afternoon became evening. We finished on a high note around 6:30pm with a professional fleet ‘expression session’ (15 minute jumping competition for all registered pro fleet riders wanting to compete and the action was amazing
