Vanora ENGADINWIND by Dakine 2023 – Silvaplana (SUI): French windsurfers Carfantan & Pianazza take U21 World Champion titles! Check below for all the details: 

In the men’s fleetFrench leader Gaspard Carfantan was waiting for his opponents to be determined in the semifinal. In difficult conditions Great Britain’s Boris Shaw and Manolo Modena from Italy qualified for the final heat in order to go head-to-head with Carfantan once more. In the end, it was the French favourite clinching the victory in the grand final, triumphantly securing the U21 World Title. The closely contested final saw Shaw finishing a mere 1.5 meters behind Carfantan, while Modena claimed the third spot on the podium.

In the women’s fleet, it was Adi Milo from Israel, who booked her ticket to the final first. In the semifinal, Italian Sofia Renna and France’s Manon Pianazza both crossed the finish line ahead of their opponents Linda Oprandi (ITA) and Sophie Meyer from Germany, securing the last two spots for the women’s final. Pianazza made it a double French victory in the last heat of the day, while Italian Renna secured the second position and Millo finished third.
