CRAZY FINALS DAY AT THE PWA FOIL SLALOM IN JAPAN!

The final racing event of the PWA season has a habit of delivering the goods, and this year’s Japan Foil Slalom was no exception! The men’s fleet served up a title-deciding twist as Amado Vrieswijk claimed event victory, only to somehow lose the overall world title after a dramatic last-final collision with team-mate Pierre Mortefon before the start of the last final. Meanwhile, in the women’s fleet, consistency proved king as Justine Lemeteyer sealed the event with three second-place finishes, edging out Lina Erzen, who had two race wins but a fifth as her final counting score. It was a day of high-speed action, huge drama and championship heartbreak! Relive all the madness with these incredible final-day highlights, filmed by RafaSoulart!
