Dawlish Warren is suitable for intermediate sailors and train spotters as the main railway line runs along the beach! It means you cannot park next to the beach, however there is a car park nearby with only a short walk to the waters edge with your gear. Best winds are S – SW which give cross shores. Watch out for groynes on the beach and, at high tide there is a tidal pull along the beach. Excellent for experts in strong S – SW, mid to high tide allowing port tack jumping and wave riding.
