Streamlined’s top rider Josh Angulo and chief designer Dave Dominy have been working together on slalom booms for the last five years and can now offer three new booms to compliment the 140 to 190 and 160 to 210 wave performance models. The 180 to 230 light-wind performance model is stiff, light, strong addition to your gear for those lighter wind days on the hot new larger sails that are available today. Competition Special booms come in two sizes, 200 to 250 and 220 to 270. They share the exact same wide body and they both have large diameter and fit over the body tubes. This large diameter is the key to stiffness without adding weight in the tail. There are two different tails. The tail for the 220 to 270 has an extra 20 cm length as well as added width. Both are set up with ball bearing pulleys for a perfect adjustable outhaul setup. These new curves, construction and designs combined with dyneema/alloy head make your sails come to life, they’ll remain stable and bring on the power.
