Preston Beach is between Paignton Pier and Hollicombe Head to the North. It’s suitable for all levels with similar water conditions but watch out for off shore winds. Its great advantage is that, unlike Paignton the beach road remains open in the summer and there is parking next to the beach. The whole of Torbay has very small tidal currents to catch out the unwary.
