The Lowdown:
Rhodes is famous as the island of the sun, located NE  of Crete and SE of Athens. It is well known for its historical old town, small  villages, sandy & rocky  beaches, thermal springs, and orange & lemon  groves. Conditions and when to go:
Suitable for all skill levels! The Meltemi is the prevailing wind, which is strongest between June and September. Light side-on winds from the SW in the mornings, whereas during midday, with an increasing thermal, advanced windsurfers and wave riders to enjoy themselves. The season starts in April and ends in October.
