The Verdict

Extremely comfortable in the hands, the ADX is a pleasure to ride. With its fantastic upwind potential and impressively stable flying ability, this wing is sure to please both freeriders and wave riders, as well as fans of downwinders!

The Lowdown

The ADX displays an impressive blend of advanced materials and optimised design. The canopy is composed of a 50D Nano Ripstop, known for its resistance to tears and limited stretching. The wing boasts a wide wingspan, following a high-aspect geometry design that boosts power efficiency. To enhance visibility, the wing utilises a multi-window design strategically located where it’s most required. The ADX showcases an increased dihedral provided by its high V inflated structure, improving riding balance. The strut’s ergonomic curve is another standout feature, refined for ideal hand placement and easy sheeting. Another significant attribute of the ADX is the aluminium drop-shaped handle design, which ensures efficient control. This control is further complemented by the Hybrid “T-Bone” construction used in the leading edge and strut, which fortifies the wing structure and enhances efficiency. The wing’s centre grab handle on the leading edge comes with comfort-enhancing rubber inlay grip stripes and a neoprene patch that shields the hand during downwinders or wave riding. The leading edge also houses anti-abrasion patches for durability and resistance to wear. Moulded mini-battens are incorporated to stabilise the trailing edge, while bladder lock technology ensures the bladder ends are secure, preventing any slippage. The ADX is designed for convenience, with its one-point inflation system featuring a streamlined SureLock valve and an 8mm hose for effortless inflation, in addition to a strut dump valve for rapid deflation.
