Swanage is E facing but less sheltered from waves than Studland. The winds from the north are less constant because of the cliffs, but it can be sailed in NE to S.


Getting there: The easiest way is to take the ferry from Sandbanks but there can be long queues during summer

Parking: Several car parks in the area

Ideal Wind: NE, SE

Accomodation: In town

Amenities: Cafés, restaurants and toilets

Suitable for: Most abilities
